Typical Target Audience Member Of An Action Film
The typical rating of an action film is 12-15 certificate this means that youth audiences are able to watch action films. Studios include themes, recognisable settings and action stars that would appeal to a youth audience. For example the setting of an action film is often in a city eg. New York; Action stars may include Bruce Willis, Daniel Craig, Matt Dayman. Action films are fast paced with tense music and feature lots of explosions and fights. A youth audience would like to see fights, explosions, gun shots, death and car chases so action films appeal to them. the audience would engage with this genre because it would entertain them and let them escape from their daily life also teenagers like fighting games and adventure computer games so action films would appeal to them.
